REMEMBERING REVEL MODEL KITS | THOMAS GRAHAM | ATLGEN, PA: SCHIFFER PUBLISHING, LTD. | 2002 | 1ST EDITION
This book’s front cover design harkens to the 1950s, 60s, and 70s thanks to the period images used. The cover design accented the images with bright colors and period appropriate fonts. Whether it be a modern-day collector, or someone who remembers the kits from their youth, the general design of this book is bound to invoke nostalgia in the viewer. The front cover’s bright red color and the images within the book also add to this nostalgic aesthetic. What really makes this book beautiful is how it can evoke emotion in the viewer with colorful depictions of objects from the past, while also serving as a price guide for collectors. All the illustrations and the front cover were printed on glossy paper from an ink jet printer.
History Professor Emeritus, Dr. Thomas Graham, wrote and signed this book. He taught at Flagler College for several decades prior to his 2008 retirement from teaching. He is currently co-writing the history of Flagler College’s first 50 years. This book is part of the faculty/staff/student publications collection.
